1. Overview

The Global Coherence Network (“GCN,” “we,” “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle data when you use our platform. We have designed GCN from the ground up to minimize data collection and keep you in control of your information.

2. Data Collection

In Phase 1, all data is stored locally on your device using your browser's localStorage. We do not collect, transmit, or store personal data on any server. Your session history, profile statistics, and saved intentions exist only on the device you use to access GCN.

3. Location Data

If you choose to share your location, it is rounded to approximately 1 km accuracy before being displayed on the map. Your exact GPS coordinates are never stored, transmitted, or shared with anyone. You can further reduce location precision by switching to “Region” mode in your Profile settings, which displays only your country or region.

4. Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies. We may use browser localStorage to store your preferences and session data for core app functionality. This data never leaves your device.

5. Third Parties

We do not share your data with third parties. The live map uses Mapbox for rendering map tiles and geographic visualization. Mapbox may collect anonymized usage telemetry as described in their own privacy policy. No personally identifiable information is sent to Mapbox through GCN.

6. Your Rights

You are in full control of your data at all times. From your Profile settings, you can:

  • Export your data as a JSON file for portability or personal records.
  • Delete all your data permanently with a single action. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered because we do not hold copies on any server.
